The Divergent Rifle & Pistol (DRP) is an advanced course designed to challenge students to SHOOT AND MOVE in and around a CQB Environment. Gunfights happen at the speed of life, and shooting on the move in these dynamic environments is key to survival. They often occur in the most undesirable locations and under circumstances we cannot control.
This course is meant to challenge you and push you beyond your comfort zone, helping you reach your full potential as a Shooter and Protector.
This two-day Rifle | Pistol course will be offered in North Carolina for 2026 and requires the use of an AR-15 platform ***NO PDW/PCC*** with 900 Rounds of Rifle Ammunition & Full Size Semi-Auto Pistol with 600 Rounds Pistol Ammunition
Course ammunition (9 mm & 5.56 ONLY) can be purchased through Blu Bearing with prior coordination.

PRE-REQUISITES:
- To register for this course, you must have completed a Blu Bearing Rifle & Pistol course or an equivalent intermediate-level course.
- This is an advanced rifle and pistol course designed for individuals who can move and shoot safely around other students.
- All attendees will complete a shooting and movement assessment at the beginning of Day 1. If you are unable to complete this assessment safely and confidently, you will be removed from the course.

COURSE OVERVIEW:
In this advanced rifle and pistol course, participants will learn how to effectively engage threats while moving at rapid yet controlled speeds. The goal for students is to understand what constitutes an acceptable shot at any given distance and speed within a close-quarters battle environment. Additionally, they will learn how to adjust their movements and actions to achieve peak performance.
This course is meant to challenge you and push you beyond your comfort zone, helping you reach your full potential as a shooter and protector. The objectives are realistic and based on our experience working with elite units in the U.S. Army and law enforcement.
Day 1: Shooting Fundamentals | Shooting Evaluations | Static Shooting Fundamentals
Day 2: Moving & Shooting Fundamentals | Surgical Shooting on the Move in a CQB Environment
COURSE LOADOUT:
- AR-15 Platforms NO PDW/PCC
- Two Point Sling
- Three magazines
- Rifle Magazine Pouch on Pistol Belt
- Semi-automatic pistol – Full-size and compact pistols
- Three magazines minimum
- Dominant side, hip-mounted holster or dominant side, belt-mounted holster, Active Retention or Friction Retention only
- Two Magazine pouches
- Pistol Belt
- 900 Rounds of Rifle Ammunition
- 600 Rounds of Pistol Ammunition
Course Ammunition (9 mm & 5.56 only) can be purchased through Blu Bearing with prior coordination.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS:
- It is expected that you come to this course with all your optics zeroed and ready to train.
- Be able to carry at least one extra rifle magazine on your pistol belt
- Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning
- Wear clothing suitable for training in any weather; pants must have belt loops.
- You will be provided with Eye Protection with Clear & Tinted Z87+ Lenses (If you have prescription glasses, they MUST have wraparound protection)
- Electronic Hearing Protection (Over the Ear or In the Ear)
- Please bring your own Lunch/Water
