Protector Mindset (201) Active Threat Response 3 Day Package

COURSE LOGISTICS: 

This course is designed for Law Enforcement & Private Citizens who are in the RIGHT PLACE at the RIGHT TIME and are the RIGHT PERSON. It is designed to test students’ ability to make critical decisions under different types of stress and cultivate the confidence to apply lethal intervention solo during an Active Threat Situation, where we force de-confliction with other armed responders and armed citizens. Students will leave this course with purpose, clarity, confidence, and the tools to stop active shooters. 

This 3-day course will begin with live fire on the range, where we will focus on everyday carry considerations and configurations. Day 2 will focus on solo response CQB and convergence with other responders; de-confliction in these environments will be paramount. We will culminate on day 3 with custom-built force-on-force scenarios based on real-world environments.

We have combined our experience and the lessons learned from active threat response situations that our country has been plagued with since the Columbine School Shooting (1999), and more recently with the Robb Elementary School Shooting (2021) and the Covenant School Shooting (2023). We identify the common themes of these attacks and break them down into a three-day, consumable training event. Active Threat Response is one of the most dynamic environments, and training must be as adaptive and realistic as possible to be effective.  

The environment and objectives will be realistic. Based on our experience working in the most elite US Army & Law Enforcement units, which focused primarily on hostage rescue. Students will learn leading-edge tactics used by Tier 1 teams today to search and clear a structure.

Students will receive detailed course instruction, demonstrations, practical exercises, real-life force-on-force scenarios, and immediate diagnostic feedback to enhance their operational capabilities. 

Day 1: Introduction to Protector Mindset | Fundamentals of Marksmanship | Everyday Carry Configurations & Considerations Live Fire (Range)

Day 2: Solo Clearance Techniques | Convergence & Deconfliction Clearance (Shoothouse)

Day 3: Breathwork | Stop the Bleed | Scenario-Based training | Simulate a real-world experience (Commercial Venue)

COURSE LOGISTICS:

This course will be LIVE FIRE on DAY 1 ONLY; the remainder of the course is simunition-based. 

You will be required to use your own 9MM Pistol & Everyday Carry holster, bag, or fanny pack.  

You are also authorized to bring and use an AR-15 ONLY if you currently use one for Home Defense and/or as a "Truck Gun".

We will provide all live ammunition needed for this course, 9MM/5.56 ONLY

You will be provided with the simunition training rifle and pistol.  

We will provide the simunition training ammunition for this course.

You are required to have a weapon-mounted light and/or a Handheld Light.

Blu Bearing will provide lunch daily for this course 

The course is limited to 12 students to offer the custom-tailored experience you deserve.
